چکیده

With the maturing of service technology, most of organizations are implementing their process-centric information systems using Web-Services (shortly SO-BPs). Nevertheless, still challenging engineering problems are hindering the development of highly adaptive, correct and realistic composite services. We aim contributing by adopting a fine-grained activity-based perception, where we behaviorally govern any involved activity using domain-level event-based business rules. We then conceptualize such activity-centric rules as transient architectural connectors. In terms of service-oriented architecture, connector roles will be playing service interfaces, whereas their glues be capturing the service composition logic. This ECA-driven architectural is then formalized using rewriting logic, allowing rapid-prototyping by true-concurrent rewriting using the MAUDE environment. For the efficient Web-Services centered deployment, we have been developing a strictly compliant aspectual .Net-based environment, allowing thus for dynamically enacting and adapting such verified SO-BPs.

Agile Service-Oriented Applications: Rule-based Foundation with Runtime Adaptability

Service-oriented applications are increasingly requested to be adaptive and reliable, to face harsh market competitiveness and volatility. Towards achieving that, service developers must foster current ad-hoc and rigid available technology, e.g. WSDL, BPEL and WS-CDL, with early formal specification and validation and equip them with adaptability as steering forces. In paper puts first mileston...

Agile Net-centric Systems Using DEVS Unified Process

Industry and government are spending extensively to transition their business processes and governance to Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) implementations for efficient information reuse, integration, collaboration and cost-sharing. SOA enables orchestrating web services to execute such processes using Business Process Execution Language (BPEL). Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) is a...

Intra-service Adaptability for Eca-centric Web Services Using Contract and Aspect

In today's competitive environment, enterprise business has to adapt the changes driven by the market in order to achieve targeted goals. Information systems are used to manage the enterprise business, and thus adaptation at information system level is very important. It raises the need for architectures and mechanisms that support such adaptation at finer granularity (process activity level). ...

A Unified Formal Foundation for Service Oriented Architectures

This paper summarizes how an algebra for mobile systems, the π-calculus, can be applied as unified formal foundation to service oriented architectures (SOA). The concepts accounted are orchestrations including data and processes, as well as choreographies consisting of interacting processes. Since SOAs incorporate agile binding of interaction partners, static process structures as found in Petr...
